Feeding up stock

Now you're ready to put the cards in the pockets. Before you get started, a couple of tips to help you on your way.

Making your display look great

By following some simple best practice procedures, feeding your stock into your display can be done in no time and your shelves will look full and engaging.

Tips

  • Start at one end of the display and work your way down the the end
  • Avoid crossing from one side to another
  • Tuck the ticket behind the cards
  • Tidy as you feed up
  • Pull cards from back of pack to the front
  • Double face product to fill empty pockets with product from the same caption - usually popular or adjacent cards
  • Ensure the correct quantity and size envelope is available for each card.
  • Remove excess envelopes
  • Replace missing/damaged envelopes
  • Remove damaged cards and place aside in reserves to claim credits

    *Cards with embellishments or treatments may be bundled front to front or include separating cardboard.


Replacement and discontinued stock

From time to time you'll have discontinued cards and a new card going into the same pocket.
Ensure the discontinued stock is to the front to sell through first.

Off location displays

If you've got a CBM or SRT - stock these up with popular, new stock or discontinued stock to entice customers.
